2-Day Intensive | $2,500 CAD | Cahya Nails Academy
2-Day Intensive — London, Ontario
A hands-on training for nail techs who want clean Russian Manicure work, strong retention, and the confidence to charge premium — taught in person, corrected in real time, over two full focused days.
There is a difference between watching someone do Russian Manicure correctly — and being able to do it correctly yourself, on a real client, under real conditions.
Most nail education gives you the first. Demonstrations, videos, step-by-step breakdowns. You watch. You take notes. You go home and try to replicate it — and something does not feel right.
This training gives you the second.
Two full days. Your hands working on a real model. Real-time corrections every step of the way. Not just what to do — but why it works, what to feel for, and how to know when it is right.
You leave with a system you can trust — not just a technique you watched someone else perform.
Investment: $2,500 CAD + tax
Format: 2 full days, in person — 1 on 1 or maximum 2 students

Corrections: Real-time, hands-on, specific to your technique
Model: You bring your own model
Dates: Arranged after enrollment — contact to confirm availability
Deposit: Required to secure your spot
This training covers the complete Russian Manicure foundations system — from nail anatomy through to retention — in the correct order, with real practice and real corrections at every stage.
DAY 1 — Foundations and Prep
We start at the beginning. Not because you are a beginner — but because foundations are where most retention problems are created, and where most nail education skips.
Nail anatomy specific to Russian Manicure — what you are working with and why it matters
Sanitation, disinfection, and sterilization standards for professional practice
Complete prep order — step by step, in the correct sequence
Nail plate preparation and sidewall control
How to hold and stabilize the finger for controlled, safe work
Reading the nail before you begin — what to look for and how it changes your approach
Common prep mistakes that cause lifting — identified and corrected on your actual work in real time
By the end of Day 1 you will have completed a full prep sequence on your model with corrections at every stage. You will understand not just what the steps are — but why each one exists and what happens when it is skipped or rushed.
DAY 2 — Cuticle Work, Structure, and Retention
Day 2 builds on the foundation. This is where the work becomes precise and where most nail techs have the most to gain.
The difference between cuticle and pterygium — what you are actually removing and why it matters for safety and retention
E-file safety — bit selection, speed, pressure, angles, and stop signals
Dry manicure control — technique, consistency, and client comfort
Structure and apex placement — why structure is a physics decision not an aesthetic one
Product control and flooding prevention
Retention system — how to build sets that last and how to read wear patterns when they do not
Troubleshooting — diagnosing lifting, breakage, and inconsistency from the work itself
By the end of Day 2 you will have completed a full Russian Manicure set on your model — prepped, cuticle work done, structured, and finished — with corrections throughout.

This training is for nail techs at any level who want to learn Russian Manicure correctly — or fix what is not working — in an in-person environment with real-time guidance.
It is the right choice if:
You are a beginner who wants to start correctly from day one instead of building habits you will have to undo later
You are an intermediate nail tech with retention problems you cannot diagnose on your own
You have watched online content and still feel unsure — because watching and doing are different things
You want someone in the room with you, correcting your hands in real time, not just answering questions after the fact
You prefer to learn by doing — and you know you learn faster with direct feedback than from a screen
You can travel to London, Ontario — or you are local and want the most direct path to clean, consistent work
This training is not the right fit if:
You are looking for a quick certification to add to your bio — this is a skill training, not a credential course
You are not willing to practice on a real model — a practice hand is not sufficient for this training
You expect to be fully advanced after 2 days — foundations take time to build into muscle memory. This training gives you the correct system. Consistency comes from applying it after you leave.
I built this training because I know what it feels like to try to learn Russian Manicure from videos alone.
You watch. You understand the steps. You go home and try — and something does not transfer. The e-file feels wrong. The cuticle work feels uncertain. The results are inconsistent and you are not sure why.
That gap between understanding and doing is exactly what in-person training closes.
When I teach in person I am not just demonstrating. I am watching your hands. I am correcting your pressure, your angle, your position — in the moment it is happening, not after. That kind of feedback cannot come from a screen.
I keep this training to a maximum of 2 students so every correction is specific to you. Your hands. Your model. Your actual technique — not a general demonstration.
Every student who has come through this training has left with work they did not believe they were capable of on day one.
That is what two focused days with the right guidance can do.

No. This training is designed for absolute beginners through intermediate nail techs. The content is adapted to your starting point. If you are a complete beginner — this is actually the best way to start, because you will build the correct habits from day one without having to unlearn anything.
Yes. You will practice on a live model throughout both days. A practice hand is not sufficient — real hands behave differently and real-time corrections on actual skin and nail are what make this training effective. Your model should be someone comfortable sitting for an extended period.
A full supply list is sent to you after enrollment and before your training date. You bring your existing tools and products. If you are a complete beginner without tools yet — contact academy@cahyanails.com before enrolling and Maya will advise you on what to prepare.
After you enroll, Maya will contact you within 48 hours to arrange a date that works for both of you. Training dates are set by mutual agreement — there are no fixed public dates.

The online course is self-paced with weekly personal corrections on submitted work over 4 weeks. The in-person training delivers the same foundations content in 2 focused days with real-time corrections on your live technique. If you learn best by doing and want someone physically present to correct your hands — in-person is the right choice. If you prefer to learn at your own pace with flexibility — the online course may be a better fit.
Two days is enough time to completely change what your work looks like — if the teaching is correct, the corrections are specific, and you are working on a real model with full attention on your technique.
That is exactly what this training delivers.
Not a shortcut. Not a certificate course. A real foundations system — taught in person, corrected in real time, built to last.
