NAIL PRICING PLANNER SYSTEM

Stop guessing what to charge. Calculate it.

The Nail Pricing Planner System gives you the exact framework to find your real cost per client, set a minimum price that makes sense on paper, and raise your rates without losing the clients who matter.

Most nail techs set their prices one of two ways.

They copy what other nail techs charge. Or they pick a number that feels comfortable — not too high, not too low — and hope it is enough.

Then they work hard, stay busy, and still feel like the money never quite adds up.

The problem is not that they are charging wrong. The problem is that they do not have the numbers to know what right actually looks like for their specific business.

This planner gives you those numbers.

WHAT THIS IS

The Nail Pricing Planner System is a 45-page interactive digital workbook that walks you through the complete pricing framework I use to calculate costs, set prices, and raise rates in my own independent nail business.

It is not motivational content. It is not a list of tips.

It is a step-by-step system with real formulas, worked examples, and fill-in worksheets — so you finish with your actual minimum price per service, your real profit margin, and a clear plan for your next price increase.

WHAT IS INSIDE

Section 1 — Know Your Numbers Before you can price correctly — you need to know where you actually stand. This section introduces the Point A, B, C framework. Point A is your real starting point — your current income minus your real expenses. Most nail techs are shocked by what this number actually is.

Section 2 — Your Current Reality A complete expense audit — fixed costs and variable costs separated, averaged over 3 months, and totaled. This section includes a full expense worksheet so you can fill in your real numbers as you go. You also calculate your current profit margin and your real hourly rate — two numbers most nail techs have never seen clearly.

Section 3 — Calculate Your Service Cost This is where the planner becomes specific to you. Using your expense total and income goal — you calculate your real cost per client and your minimum price per service. The planner includes a personal pricing worksheet where you plug in your own schedule, client volume, and income goal to find your floor.

Section 4 — When and How to Raise Prices Once you have your number — this section shows you exactly when to raise prices, how much to increase, how to time it, and how to communicate it. Includes a ready-to-use price increase script for existing clients, general announcements, and pushback responses.

What you calculate by the end:

✔ Your real cost per client

✔ Your current profit margin with benchmarks

✔ Your real hourly rate

✔ Your minimum price per service — specific to your business

✔ Your price increase amount and timeline

✔ The exact words to use when you communicate it

WHO THIS IS FOR

This planner is for you if:

  • You set prices based on what other nail techs charge — not your actual costs

  • You feel busy but your income does not reflect the work you put in

  • You want to raise your prices but feel nervous about client reactions

  • You are not sure what you actually spend per month on your business

  • You want a real number — a minimum price — that you can say out loud with confidence

This planner is not for nail techs looking for permission to overcharge or a shortcut to skip the work. It is for nail techs who are serious about running their business with clarity.

A NOTE FROM MAYA

I did not start with pricing confidence.

I started by copying what the salon around me charged. Then I raised my prices slightly when I felt brave enough. Then I lowered them again when a client pushed back.

For years I had no idea whether my prices were too low, too high, or exactly right — because I had never actually calculated the answer.

When I finally sat down and did the math — I realized I had been underpricing for most of my independent career. Not because I lacked confidence. Because I lacked information.

Once I had my real numbers — everything changed. Raising prices became a decision I could explain to myself and to my clients. The anxiety around pricing conversations dropped significantly. And my income became more stable — not because I worked more, but because I finally knew what I needed to charge.

This planner is built around the exact framework I use in my own business. It is the resource I wish I had been given when I first went independent.

Most nail techs will keep guessing.

They will keep copying other people's prices. They will keep feeling anxious about every rate increase. They will keep wondering why busy does not feel like enough.

You do not have to be one of them.

Your prices should be based on your numbers — your costs, your time, your skill, your income goal. Not someone else's Instagram post.

This planner gives you those numbers. In one afternoon.
